Project Costing

Project Costing is important because each project has multiple tasks associated with it. To track the actual cost of a Project, primarily in terms of services, a User has to create a Timesheet based on the time spent on a Task within a Project. You can track the service cost against a Project in the following ways.

The Activity Type and Activity Cost

These are two essential components of the Timesheet system. The Activity Type is a list of different types of activities that an employee can work on, such as development, design, testing, etc. The Activity Cost, on the other hand, records the per-hour billing rate and costing rate of an employee against a particular Activity Type. This information is used by the system to determine the Project Cost while creating Timesheets

Project profitability

It is an important aspect of project management as it helps to ensure that the project is generating more revenue than costs. It is essential to track the profitability of a project throughout its lifecycle to ensure that resources are being used efficiently and to prevent overspending. The profitability of a project is calculated by taking the difference between the revenue generated and the costs associated with the project. This helps to ensure that the project is financially viable and will ultimately lead to success.

Project Reports

It offer an in-depth analysis of billing, timesheets, and stock movements for businesses. They provide a clear overview of financial and operational information, allowing businesses to make informed decisions and stay on top of their finances and inventory. With Project Reports, businesses can stay organized and on top of their operations to ensure success.
